Interview magazine was founded by Andy Warhol in 1969 and remains one of the most culturally authoritative publications in the world, operating at the precise intersection of art, fashion, music, and cultural identity.

From 2012 to 2013, I was commissioned by Interview to profile three hip hop artists at pivotal moments in their trajectories. Logic, the Maryland rapper building a dedicated following through mixtapes before his major label debut, Under Pressure in 2014. Bishop Nehru, one of the most lyrically gifted young MCs in the game, subsequently signed to Nas at Ill Will Records. And Reggie Snow, an emerging voice in the culture before the mainstream arrived.
